3 outstanding young German Shorthair Pointers for sale
A litter of 10 was whelped May 26, 2007.
Seven have found permanent homes and three remain to be placed
with owners who will not just hunt them but spend time with them as well.
These dogs have all been socialized and all have exhibited natural hunting skills. They seem to know how to find their way home when left in the field. None have been formally trained but all have had all of the recommended vaccinations, all have had the rattlesnake vaccine and all have implanted microchips.
These dogs are the product of the mating of Buddy Lee (D-Two Buddy Lee) and Mara (Mava von Kerr). Their pictures and pedigrees (sire- 4 generations, dam- 5 generations) are below.

The picture of Mara with all ten puppies was taken the evening they were born.
Some renowned German Shorthaired Pointers appear in these dog's bloodline. Four GSP Hall of Fame dogs are represented, appearing 11 times in the pedigree charts. HOF FC Big Oaks Bumper appears in the pedigree 5 times, (three sire, two dam). HOF FC Dixieland’s Rusty also appears on both sides of this pairing (one sire, two dam), HOF NAFC FC AFC P J Wildfire appears twice (dam) and HOF DC Leipchen Buddendorff appears once (dam). Both Mara’s sire and dam were professional quail guide dogs, as is Buddy Lee. Mara has excellent hunting skills inherited from her parents.
This “old line” of German Shorthaired Pointers is famous for producing friendly dogs that can live in the house as family pets and then go to the field and be among the best bird dogs out there. Their dispositions are pleasant and these dogs love and need human contact. Please don’t inquire about these puppies unless you would be able to give one lots of personal contact AND take them hunting.
AKC papers, of course, will be provided. They are priced at $1000. They are located in Longview, Texas. (Between Dallas and Shreveport, LA.) |
